Unsupported audio format
Use WAV, MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG or FLAC. Renaming an extension does not convert the underlying codec; export a new file from a trusted audio application instead.
Practical browser fixes
Use the message shown beside your file to identify the problem. A failed analysis does not mean your audio was uploaded.
Use WAV, MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG or FLAC. Renaming an extension does not convert the underlying codec; export a new file from a trusted audio application instead.
The container may use a codec unavailable in this browser, or the file may be damaged. Try a current browser, play the file locally to confirm it is valid, or export a standard WAV or MP3 copy.
Export a shorter section or a smaller local copy. The limit reduces memory pressure because decoding happens on your device.
Analyze a representative section no longer than 20 minutes. Avoid trimming away every rhythmic or harmonic passage you need the detector to hear.
Close memory-heavy tabs, reduce the batch size, try a shorter file and run one track at a time. Mobile devices can reach their memory limit sooner than desktop computers.
Silence, corrupted samples or an internal detector failure can prevent a result. Confirm the file contains audible material and try another export. Speech, drums or noise may instead return a plausible but unreliable best-effort key.
Cancellation stops the active Worker and marks queued work as cancelled. Choose the files again when you are ready to restart.
